With the idea of making Costa Rica the first Central America Country with nature friendly industrial parks, several organizations and associations have gathered to develop a new project.

The project pretends to stablish rules and regulations in the industrial parks about topics like recycling, reuse, waste and water treatment, emission control, reducing water and energy consumption.

While promoting this green parks we offer the investors the warranty of stablishing in a country where they'll be surrounded by environmentally responsible companies, said the advisor of one of this associations.

This proyect starts individually with each company and then in a grupal way by finding solutions of cooperation between each company so they can contribute in making this green park.

"The key is the mutual work of the companies so between them all they can improve the production process in and outside the company", explained the energetic advisor of the industrial assembly.

After a commitment of the companies of becoming members of this initiative, they'll receive an evaluation of the areas that has great potential and low environmental impact and then they'll receive capacitations in order to improve their actions and finally implement action plans individually and as a group.

Actually this project is being developed in the Industrial Park of Cartago and for now this will be the only one, because the idea is to succesfully complete this project there before moving to the rest of the country.
