The coming to the Costa Rican aerial market of the second biggest airline in Mexico will be consummated next Friday march 26th when a new commercial flight takes.

This company will start daily flights from Mexico to the Juan Santamaría International Airport that day.

By the moment, we are talking about two daily flights, one of them from the DF with a stop in Cancun and then to Costa Rica.

All of the above is a chance that the tourist authorities will take advantage of to stimulate the arrival of the travelers from this country.

According to the Costa Rican Tourist Institute (ICT), last year almost 48,000 Mexican tourists arrived to Costa Rica.

This airline operates since 1934, its consolidation as global enterprise started in 1991.

The last important movements was the alliance in 2000 with Air France, Delta Airlines and Korean Air to create SkyTeam that allowed them to work jointly with other European and Asian airlines. Another one was the renovation of the enterprise and the installation of this in 2009.

A year before, it entered the Chinese market with 2 weekly flights from the DF-Tijuana-Shangai.
