The Italian-Costa Rican Chamber of Industry and Commerce will seek to attract the Italian promotion to the Tico land through the culinary art.

It is all about a new approach of their strategy of promotion and commerce that pretends to promote the growing of the gastronomic Italian sector in Costa Rica making the Properties in Costa Rica even more attractive.

This idea came out during 2008, and this year will be the growing year. By that time, an integral project in the Italian cuisine sector present that year was developed. A year later, a draft editionof the Italian guide “Dove Mangeró” (Where to Eat?).

This week, representatives of the chamber presented this guide as the official that recognizes and certifies under the Italian quality standards each of the Costa Rican and foreign commerce that is participating in it and have an orientation towards the Italian cuisine.

The guide takes into account all the culinary practices up to the high percentage of the products imported from Italy.

For Natalia DiPippa, general secretary of the organization, “Dove Mageró 2010” is a way to continue the business tactics. With it, an acceptable format achieved the combination of commerce with the gastronomical information, offering to all public a variety of gastronomical alternatives in the country.
