Meter square will cost $2,400 - Building will be ready in October 2011

The beginning of the construction of the International Corporate Center Tower C, projected to be ready in 20 months, started last week.

It’s a 16 story-building property in Costa Rica; thirteen of them will be above the sidewalk and the other three underground. It’s located in San Jose, at the corner of 8th Avenue and 28th Street, in Barrio Don Bosco.

The infrastructure, where the offices will be sold or rented, pretends to fulfill the needs that a center like this requires nowadays such as: sufficient park spaces and security.

For this reason, the first eight floors will be for parking spaces, having a total of 281 spaces for vehicles.

Regarding security, the system is the following: all vehicles that enter any of the floors for parking and then the people enter to an elevator that transports you, to the only destination, the first floor. There, you will find the reception where an Identification will be asked and registered before continue to the offices.

After that, other elevators will take the people to their destinations. Each floor of 732 meter square, will have six offices of 91,5 m2 the smallest and 138,8 m2 the biggest.

This work, is designed and built by the enterprise Hogares de Costa Rica S.A., which also built the Corporate Center Tower A, use for offices, and seven years ago Tower B, where actually is located the Tax Administration of San Jose. The same enterprise that makes these developments is the one that’s building Condominiums 6-30.

“The idea is to have a variety in construction. For example, the third stage of the Condos is a hotel, and now there will be offices”, said Alvaro Camacho, director of the construction department, Hogares de Costa Rica S.A.

This project is part of the program of Urban Repopulation, palnned by the Municipality of San Jose that is working to attract people to live in the capital.

The Municipality hopes that the arrival of the inhabitants, the quantity of robberies and the actual delinquency diminish.
