Costa Rica Real Estate is the third in the world in pollution control and natural resources management, according to Environmental Performance Index 2010.

The index, elaborated by experts of the Universities of Yale and Columbia, was presented in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Above Costa Rica we find Iceland and Switzerland. The Index analyzed 163 countries in different categories as air quality, water management, biodiversity management, fishing, agriculture and the fight against global warming.

According to EFE, “the first seats were given based on the investments these countries have done in environmental infrastructure, pollution control and other politics focused on sustainability in long terms”.
