Between 14 and 15 colones in the different bank entities

After registered an important raise during last week, the dollar started to drop and locate its price 14 and 15 colones less than the previous Friday. With it, the American currency seems to fulfill the first price cycles, because in the recent past it only tend to drop when the last week of the month is coming, reason why it is estimated that many enterprises decide to change their dollars into colones to do the salary payments.

The awareness of this kind of movements of the dollar is also important for those people who are looking for getting a Costa Rica Real Estate. The sale reference price is 559,50 colones and the purchase price is 550 colones today. Between January 4 and 8 the currency showed an increased number of 14 colones.

This is also good news for those who have loans in dollars. Analysts of the INS stoke market estimated that this year there will be an appreciation of the colon of 2% and the price of the dollar will be around 560 colones by the end of the year.
