In order to get a driver license from Costa Rica, you don’t need to take a test other than medical, that you can get outside the CONAVI. You will need to present a copy of your passport with the last entry stamp, your drivers license from your home state, after you present this information, you will need to go to the bank to pay for your license, then you have your picture taken.
