In Costa Rica the Real Market as started to show signs of fully recovery and now it's starting to enter a phase of slow expansion, at this stage the supply and demand would be growing and the availability rates tend to decline.

In Costa Rica this phase is being experienced through an increase in the supply of offices that are now under construction and the tendency of projects and developers in their intends to build more offices with high standards of achitecture and designs.

A little over 101 thousand square meters are aimed to be Class A and A + office buildings, these are categories of buildings according to their quality.

Besides, there are 489 thousand square meters in plans and designs of developers, but the construction plans have not yet begun,showing that the intention to build is bigger.

A high demand of office is expected due more than anything for the service sector, thanks to the arrival of new specialized companies and expansions of those already established, like the insurance companies and telecommunications. But also the government institutions have showed signs of demand in the Costa Rica Real Estate Market.

The period in which the market could remain in this phase of expansion is not possible to calculate with certainty.

Some of the works of offices are already under construction are TERRA Corporate Campus, Tower and Escazú Mountains Corporate Center, these are all buildings in height.
