By the end of 2012, the total number of places that will offer the Zona Franca El Coyol will reach 4,500, which is twice the work now offered.

The expansion of companies in these already settled commercial lots in Costa Rica, and the arrival of new firms will generate an increase in the number of jobs in the industrial complex.

The Future demand for labor will supply manufacturing industries of medical equipment and therefore will focus on positions such as assemblers, technicians, operators, supervisors, engineers, precision mechanics, among others.

For the 13 companies already operating in the Coyol, including Veridian Medical, Hologic, St. Jude Medical and Beam One, it is essential to have enough workers and support staff like technical graduates, especially in accounting, and university graduates from industrial engineering and from business administration.

To meet the needs of workers, the zone is currently working on an alliance with the Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje(INA) to provide training and technical education to employees, so they know their job better and perform their work the best way.

At the end of the business park development, estimated for 2022, is expected to have about 25 companies that will create 15000 direct jobs.

The business park offers significant benefits for firms that arrive in Costa Rica, for example its location just ten minutes from Juan Santamaria Airport and connected to all major highways.

The Coyol ensures transport for employees, to date there are different routes from San José, Belén, Heredia and Alajuela, either by highway of El Coyol or El Roble.

Is not excluded that in a future could be counted with the arrival of the train, for transporting employees from the east of the capital.
