The Gobern will habilitate lots for building houses for the middle class as a way to help the need of house of a big sector of the costarican population with incomes of ¢250 thousand per family.

These 90 lots belong to the National Institute of Housing and Urban Development (INVU, because of the name in Spanish) the developing of this project will be funded by several sources.

The objective of this project is to increase the lifestyle of the populations and to give them easier access to services like the health care, education and recreation. This way the Costa Rica Real Estate will grow efficiently.

This iniciative will be executed in stages, the first three of them will be located in Hacienda Vieja of Curridabat, Finca Vargas of Desamparados and in Los Diques of Cartago. The further stages will be developed in properties of Alajuela, Limón and Puntarenas.

The first project running it's a vertical condominum in Hacienda Vieja, it will be constructed in a area of 10 thousand sqf with a total investment of ¢6 thousand millions.

The variety will let the families choose houses of 2 or 3 bedrooms and with 1 or 2 parking lots. Each solution will have a cost of between ¢ 20 million and ¢60 million with interest rates lower than in the market.

To improve the services of this properties, the developers are coordinating with other institutions like the Department of Educations and Health.

This initiave it's actually a good looking one in the construction sector because besides providing housing solutions for the middle class, it will generate job opportunities.

The insitution INVU opened two lines for the middle class houses one for families of an income around the ¢1 million and the other of for families of an income of ¢250 thousand or more. For this last one it is granted a 25 year term for cancellation with a tax rate of 10% in the first two years.
